-17--. A Belvoir Angel. Small slate , with round-faced winged angel, to: Elizabeth wife of William Orston d. Mar 19th 1719 aet 57. -Pale death will hardly find another/ so good a wife so kind a mother/ In all her actions so discreet/ As she who here lies at your feet-. Below, a tex t -All the days of my life shall I wait until my (change comes). Job 14v14- (I await resurrection, but not to the old earthly life). The Pale Death is a reference to tuberculosis.
