Rectangular Swithland slate headstone with stylised angels head to John Dexter d. 18th Jul 1759 in his 57th year. -I was with Pain So Sore opprest./ It wore my Strength a way/ But hope for that eternal rest/ Which never will Decay-. Engraver probably L Claxton. (Photo Apr 2014).
