A timber-framed and plastered hall house, probably of C16 origin with a floor
inserted in the Cl7. There are cross wings at the east and west ends with jettied
upper storeys. 1:1:1 window range, Cl9 double hung sashes with vertical glazing
bars. A 6-panel door has a doorcase with an ornamented frieze and a flat cornice
hood. Roof tiled. (RCHM 7).
