15. Large, shaped, with delicate foliage and flowers and relief in roundel at top. Seraphim, clouds with a fiery crown. A figure holds the shank of the anchor of hope in one hand, a Bible text in the other and leans on a tomb with -Which Hope we have as an Anchor for the Soul both sure and steadfast (Hebrews 6.19)-. A cross and a Tree of Life are also present. Slate divided vertically, to: Thomas Hall d. 5th Nov 1784 age 47, and Sarah, wife of Thomas Hall d. 7th Oct 1784 age 37. -In this cold bed here rest both Man and Wife/ Cut off from all the cares and toils of Life/ Tho envious Death them parted twas in vain/ In thirty days he made them one again-. signed W Barnes.
