--7-- One of the Belvoir Angels headstones by a Hickling craftsman. Rectangular slate with round-faced winged angel and raised letters, to: Henry James Sen. of Barnstone d. Apr. 11th 1730 aet 58. Poem: -A loving husband and a virtuous wife/ Here lies confined both to leave this life/ And tho their bodys do return to dust/ Their souls I hope are dwelling with the just-. Below this -Blessed are they that in the Lord they die/ From their labours they rest eternally-. (adapted from Revelations 14.13. (Photo Oct 2012).
