The two flanking panels show St Mark and St Luke, writing their Gospels. Erected by Rev Joseph Clarke, Vicar, in memory of his parents John d Jan 1829 aged 56 and Anne d Nov 1832 aged 57. -The memory of the just is blessed- (Proverbs 10.7). (A text to be used with caution, as the verse ends -but the name of the wicked shall rot-). (Photo Apr 2015).
