Barn Farm

GV II

Barn. Late C18 or early C19 barn reusing C16 elements and altered in late C20.
Timber-framed barn, the exterior weatherboarded on brick plinth. Half-hipped tiled
roof. Part of bay nearest road has had its wall frame removed and rebuilt a few
feet further from the road. Central modern cart entrances. Weatherboarded and
tiled outshuts on 2 sides. Interior has C16 jowled upright posts, but late C18
angled queen struts, through purlins and ridgepiece. Included for group value only.
