GV II

Boundary wall and gates. 1892-93. By Watson Fothergill.
Restored 1991. Rockfaced Bulwell stone with sandstone ashlar
dressings. The wall runs across the front of the almshouses to
a rounded corner, and then along the right return fronting
Sherwood Rise. Stepped chamfered plinth and square piers with
gabled caps, moulded coping. Original iron railings removed. 3
pairs of larger square gate piers set diagonally, with
double-domed caps. Gates removed.
