Boundary wall with gates. Mid C19. Squared gritstone, rounded
coping, wrought-iron gates, cast-iron gate posts. Approx 50m
long and 1.5m high, reduced in height in parts. At the S end
and set back slightly, a short length of railing and pair of
gates with cast-iron posts. Double gates with bars and dog
bars, leaf finials; the posts are cylindrical and have the
maker's name: 'WM. TOWER:GLOBE FOUNDRY: LEEDS'. The railings
link to monolithic piers with rounded tops. Part of the
boundary of Grosvenor Terrace (qv), the gateway is not
original as a small building is shown on the 1850 Ordnance
Survey map.
