C18 with rebuilt front. 3 storey. Brick on projecting plinth. Moulded strings at ground and 1st floor winfor-head level. Narrow 1-course string at 2nd floor window-head level. Moulded brick cornice and parapet on stepped base and recessed over windows. Old tile roof. 3 windows, architrave frames segmetnal heads and keyblocks to upper floors. 2 similar windows on ground floor, and 3-panel central door in panelled surround with pilasters and flat hood on elaborately carved scroll brackets with andle heads, modern reproduction.

flanking lead heads on returns with angel head ornament. All windows, doors, hood and carved brakcets modern reproduction.

Nos 18, 37, 43, 45 and all the listed buildings on the south-east side from Nos 19 to 46 (consec) (including wrought-iron screen before Vernon House), form a group.
