Church of St Andrew

A Grade I Listed Building in Rippingale, Lincolnshire

Margaret de Coellville

Uploader's Comments

Beneath an ogee shaped canopy with ball flower decoration lies the recumbent figure of a lady, thought to be that of Margaret de Coellville, who in the first half of the 14th century married John Gobard. At her feet is the statue of an armed man.
