Late 13th century cross-legged knight in chain mail, maybe Sir Guy Gobard, lord of the manor. His hands are clasped in prayer, and at his feet lies a lion. Cross-legged knights indicate that the person represented died in the Christian faith, and it is thought that it can also indicate a crusader.
