Early C19. 3 storeys. Red brick on projecting plinth. Strings at 1st and 2nd
floor level. Moulded cornice and brick parapet with stone coping. Slate roof.
2 windows 4 panes wide, flanking central, 3-pane window to upper floors, large
3-centred arched window, red rubber head, modern lights to left hand on ground
floor. Central 6-panel door with plain arched fanlight, and one window, no glazing
bars, to right hand.

All the listed buildings on the South West Side, South East Side, Market Hall,
Market Cross and the Fountain form a group.

Also all the listed buildings on the South West Side form a group with
Nos 1 to 18 (coneec) Northgate Street.
