--7-- One of the Belvoir Angels headstones by a Hickling craftsman. Rectangular slate with round-faced winged angel, -(COME Y)E BLESSED- Elizabeth daughter of Peter Hemsley by Isabel his wife d. Dec 29th 1725 aet 21-. Poem: -Though death hath parted you and I/ Our bodys to dust must turn/ I hope that we shall meet again/ You have no cause to mourn/ Dear friends do not lament for me/ But cheere up now your hearts/ And strive that you may come t(o me)/Where death no more shall (be)-.
