Nos l-16 (consec) form a group with Nos 1-22 (consec) opposite.
Late C18 or early C19 terrace, each 3 storeys and basement, 2 windows. Nos 1 and
2 have added mansards with dormers. Stock brick with stone-coped parapet and stone
1st floor cill band, and stone window cills. Gauged flat brick arches to sash
windows, mostly with glazing bars, those on 1st floor long and with ornamental
cast iron balconies. Doors of 4 panels, upper ornamental, flanked by panelled
pilasters supporting mutuled cornice head with fanlight above having ornamental
carved border: all in stucco lined reveal and in round arched recess. Wrought
iron handrail, and area railings with spearhead standards and urn finials.
