Terrace of cottages. C17, with C19 extension and C20
alterations. Timber-framed encased in brown stock brick,
Flemish bond, colourwashed brickwork (No.246). Old tiled
roofs, hipped at east and over No.246, T-plan brick
chimneystack with band and oversailing courses at right,
serving Nos 246 & 248.
EXTERIOR: single-storey and attics, and 2 storey. Ground floor
has 3 recessed 2-light small paned wood casement windows, and
two C20 bow windows. Door to No.252 at left, doors to Nos 248
& 250 beneath lean to timber porch with trellised sides, doors
to No.246 at right beneath lean-to porch with tiled roof, and
has 2-light timber casement windows on ground and first
floors. Roof with 5 gabled casement dormers.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
