GV II

House. Late C17/early C18, refronted early C19. Brick front
with limestone dressings, limestone rubble sides and rear,
with brick gable stack and stone slate roof. Double-depth
plan.
2 storeys and attic; 1-window range. Rusticated quoins to a
coped gable with kneelers and finial set forward of the
original front, with a left-hand doorway with a bracketed
canopy and 6-panel door with the top pair glazed, and raised
surrounds with cill blocks and plain cornices to 8/8-pane
sashes and round-arched attic 6/6-pane sash; the right-hand
gable much altered, includes fragments of a ridge, and the
rear is a 1-window range with 8/8-pane ground-floor sash in
flush box, horned 8/8-pane half dormer sash and a mid C20 roof
dormer with casements.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
