He shall judge the world in righteousness- Psalm 9.8. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them- Matthew 28.19. The artist depicts the disciples barefoot, with Jesus wearing sandals. I interpret this as Jesus the first bishop of his church sending his tenderfoot ministers into the world. Dedication: To the Glory of God and in memory of the Reverend Robert Stammers, MA, for 55 years Vicar of this Parish. A tribute from his Parishioners-. (Photo Jun 2015).
