GV II

House. C18 with C19 refurbishment. Timber-framed and
plastered, peg-tiled gambrel roof, large external stack at E
end. Rectangular plan of principal block with deep single
storeyed rear lean-to. 2 storey and attic with cellar. Front,
N elevation: C19 panel pargetted with plastered hood moulds
over sliding sash windows with glazing bars. Central doorway
with hood-mould, moulded architrave, 6-panelled door, upper
panels glazed, single flat-headed dormer. Rear, S elevation:
secondary stack through roof pitch at W end. C20 2-light
window, glazing bars, 4x3 panes, single ramped dormer window.
E end elevation: large external C18 central stack, reduced and
rebuilt at top, small single-light window on ground floor to
rear.
