Town house now shop/restaurant. C16 or early C17; restored
1980s after fire; large late C20 rear addition. Timber-frame
with plaster infill and brick underbuilding; renewed tile
roof. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Fascia over ground floor,
which has central recessed entrance with paired doors and
half-glazed inner doors; large flanking C20 window with
small-paned glazing. 1st floor has 2 windows with 3-light
casements and one with 2-light casement, all C20 with leaded
glazing; small rebuilt gabled dormer to left. 1st floor,
originally jettied, has close studding. INTERIOR has exposed
beams, timber-framing and roof trusses.
