Small house in row. Late C18 or early C19. Large squared and
coursed Portland block, asbestos-cement roof. Two storeys and
attic, 1-windowed. A gabled 2-light C20 dormer above 3-light
casement with chamfered stone mullions to flush cill and C20
casement in former sash opening on stone cill. To right a
half-gable pent porch with stone cheeks over C19 panelled
door. Stone stack, partly rendered, to left with skirt and
capping; plain return right. Modest, but less altered than
most properties in the street, and representative of artisan
dwelling on the island.
