Terrace of 4 houses. Mid C19. Flemish bond brickwork, tile roofs, brick stacks. Although of consistent build, No.9 has straight joint in brickwork to No.8, possibly added slightly later than remainder. 3 storeys, each 1-windowed. No.6 has 9 over 12-pane sashes, No.7 has 4-pane sashes, and Nos 8 & 9 have replacement sashes, all to rough brick voussoirs and stooled stone cills. Doorways to yellow brick arches over plain tympana and on 2 stone steps; C19 flush panel, part glazed to No.8, and C20 replacement to No.9. Two square ridge stacks, slightly raised copings at ends, to 7/8 and 8/9. Plain return to right, where adjacent terrace is set back. INTERIORS not inspected. Modest buildings, but substantially complete and of importance to continuity of the street.
