Dormitories and classrooms. Circa 1865, probably by Sir George Gilbert Scott.

South-west front: flint with brick dressings and lacing courses Bath stone window dressings, alternating tiled and brick first floor window relieving arches with patterned brickwork in tympana, and diapered fish-scale tile hung attic. Old tile roof; six tile hung gabled semi dormers with twin sashes, large end stack to right, stack to rear at left, and stack to front corbelled from attic off-centre to right, all diapered and multi-shafted with oversailing tops. One and a half storeys. Six first floor two-light mullioned windows with sashes, four ground floor two-light mullioned windows with sashes, and three-light mullioned window with sashes between first and second two-light windows from left. Segmental arched boarded door off-centre to left and gabled timber framed porch with arch braced entrance.

Right-hand block: one and a half storeys set back with gabled semi dormer and two-light ground floor window. Wing projecting to right with jettied attic, sash in tile hung gable end, and end stack to right with three diagonally set shafts and oversailing tops. Two first floor Caernarvon arched windows, and boarded door with C20 gabled rustic porch. Tower projecting from left-hand return front: Flint with brick dressings. Square ground floor with broaches to semi circular first floor, and square tile hung attic on timber braces with gable and two sashes to north. Small rectangular windows in each floor to north.

North-east front: large assymetrical composition with irregular fenestration. Main elements include: jettied tile hung attic gable to left, two tile hung gabled semi dormers, large stack to right, and semi circular stair tower off centre to right with square base and conical tile roof. Large first floor three-light mullioned window to left with tiled relieving arch and patterned brickwork in tympanum.
