Walls to north-west side of Penrose
Road

GV II

Retaining wall. Probably C18. Whitewashed rubble with tarred
coping. Gap for vehicular access breaches wall approximately
midway. The whitewashed walls of Helston are a distinctive
feature of the town and represent the survival of a strong
local building tradition.
