Pair of terraced houses. c.1840; altered/rebuilt C20. Yellow
stock brick set in Flemish bond with banded stucco
ground-floor and stucco dressings; roofs obscured, brick
centre stacks. Side-hall entrance plan. Two storeys with
basement; 2 windows each. Low steps rise to entrance in outer
bays: doorway with fluted 1/4 columns carrying corniced-head,
rectangular overlight and panelled door. 6/6 sashes
throughout. Stucco still band beneath architraved 1st floor
full-length sashes with bracketed consoles supporting cornice
and cast-iron balconettes. Stucco cornice with blocking course
with altered roofline extended by stucco gable to centre
flanked by swept-up ends. Attached cast iron railings with urn
finials.
