South aspect, south aisle. The eastern window with Y tracery looks like a renewal of C13 Early English Gothic. C19 gabled buttress. Between the two Victorian Gothick straight-headed windows some pieces of Norman masonry have been re-used. On the 1826 south porch is a shield - it looks to me like a ploughed field device to represent Markfield. (Photo Oct 2007).
