GV II

Farmhouse, circa 1830. Red brick, in Flemish Bond, with slate roof, 2
storeys 3-bay "T" shaped plan. Projecting sandstone plinth. Pilaster
doorcase with open pediment and six-panel, part glazed, door with
radial bar fanlight. Mullion and transome windows, mainly 3-light,
with ovolo moulded mullion, stone sills and skewback heads. Moulded
cast iron eaves gutter supported on widely spaced projecting timber
blocks; also eaves saw-tooth course. Gable end stacks.
Interior: Bevelled beams in rear (east) wing. Six-panelled doors
with reeded architraves. Wide boarded doors on HL hinges at first
floor level.
