GV II

Granary, now a house. C18, extended to E and converted to a house in
C19. Chequered red and blue brick granary, timber frame extension with
white weatherboarded front, dark weatherboarded end, but red brick
casing to rear wall. Steep old red tile roofs, pyramidal on granary,
with wrought iron vane on top. A 2-storeys square granary with 2
segmental arched low openings on each side of base, plinth offset,
plat-band, and boarded soffit to projecting roof with bellcast eaves.
Conversion added a projecting 2-flues chimney to N side and a
single-storey E wing of 2 cells with internal chimney, entrance under
porch on S side with window to right and 2 rear windows. Lean-to E end
small extension. One window on each floor of S side of granary with
cambered arch to ground floor. 2-lights casement windows.
