Barn. C17. Timber frame on low brick sill, dark weatherboarded with a
steep pitched roof now covered in corrugated asbestos, said to be
formerly thatched. A tall 5-bays barn on E side of farmstead facing W.
Central double doors and central rear outshut with catslide roof in same
bay. Jowled posts, unjowled mid-bay posts, mid-height rail jointed
in-line, straight braces to tie-beams. 2 purlins to each roofslope: the
upper clasped by a high collar: the lower butt-jointed to principals.
