Heazworth House

GV II

House, now offices. Early C19 with later alteration and
extension. Gault brick; slate roof with brick stack piercing
front roof slope.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey 3-window front. Half-glazed door to right,
within round-headed doorcase. Central tripartite sash window
to ground floor arranged 2/2, 6/6, 2/2; one 6/6 unhorned sash
to left. On first floor, two similar sashes separated by a
central canted bay window with 2/2, 6/6, 2/2 sashes. In all
windows, upper sashes are Gothick-glazed.
INTERIOR: staircase with cast-iron balustrade.
