Sundial in St Mary's Churchyard

GV II

Sundial. Probably C18. On octagonal stone baluster and a
simple square base. The baluster has recessed panels in each
of 3 stages; the second stage diminishes in a concave profile;
the third stage has a deep recess in each panel, shaped like
the chamber of a medieval stone coffin. Copper dial with
damaged gnomon.
