Formerly known as: Wedderburn Cottage WEDDERBURN ROAD.
Detached house. 1886. By Horace Field. Red brick. Hipped roof
now pantiled, with overhanging eaves. Stripped Tudor or
Vernacular Revival style. Brick chimneys. Gable roughcast. 2
main storeys. Asymmetrical composition with 3-sided
flat-topped bay window right of centre with gable over. All
windows leaded casements. Tudor-style entrance in centre with
minimal pediment over door (modified). To left of end,
slightly recessed wing with open arcading to ground floor.
INTERIOR not inspected.
Part of a group with Nos 1, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13 (qqv), also
early works by Field.
