Detached house. c1840. Stucco, roof of slate.
2 and 3 storeys over basement, 3-window range to Powis Villas,
2 window-range to Clifton Hill. The front to Powis Villas has
an entrance bay set back to the right with a flat-arched porch
and entrance, and a 3-storey tower element to the left, the
angles with chamfered quoins. Ground floor decorated with
banded rustication; canted bay to basement and ground floor;
left-hand window with cast-iron balcony and concave awning;
first floor tripartite window over bay; round-arched
second-floor window to tower; bracketed eaves; hipped roofs;
side stacks; return in Clifton Hill has 2-storey canted bay to
east and round-arched first-floor window to right of that.
INTERIOR: not inspected. Stuccoed garden walls with moulded
coping and rusticated piers with cornice and finial.
