Semi-detached houses. c1840. Stucco, roofs of slate.
2 storeys over basement, 2-and-a-half-window range, the houses
sharing a central blank window. Entrance in outer bay set
back: flat-arched with overlight. All windows flat-arched;
canted bay to basement and ground floor, the ground floor
windows divided by pilasters with stepped capitals, and having
window-guards; chamfered long and short quoins to both outer
angles; bracketed eaves cornice; hipped roof; stack to party
wall. No.8 has canted bay to ground floor on left-hand return.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Dwarf garden walls, with moulded coping remaining to No.9, and
square corniced gate piers, still rusticated on No.8.
These houses match Nos 6-7 Powis Villas on the north side of
Powis Grove (qv)
