House, now shop and flat. c1814-1836 with later additions and
alterations including extension to rear. Reddish-brown brick
with Welsh slate roof.
2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. First floor has 6/6 sashes.
Cornice, low parapet, hipped roof. Ground floor: central
entrance a part-glazed 4-panel door within surround of Tuscan
pilasters, frieze and cornice. Shop entrance to left a
part-glazed door within glazed shop front with Tuscan
pilasters, frieze and cornice. Rear stack.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Regent Street, first known as Cross Street,
was laid out c1808-1814. The first buildings in a terrace
development date from 1814.
