2 houses, now one house. C17 with later alterations. Right
part: timber-frame, later refronted in painted brick; left
part: coursed blue lias fronted in red brick; gabled thatched
roofs with brick stacks. L-plan.
EXTERIOR: elevation to side street: single-storey plus attic;
4-window range. Recessed entrance approximately central has
C20 door. To right 2 segmental-headed windows with 3-light C20
casements, similar window to left. Attic has 3 eyebrow
dormers. Gabled end to left has a 3-light casement.
Left return to street has high rubble plinth; 2-window range
with large external end stack with tile off-sets and small
light; ground floor has segmental-headed windows with 3-light
leaded casements; first floor has eyebrow dormer to left, with
3-light small-paned casement; board with painted lettering:
ANCIENT LIGHTS, relating to legal rights.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
