SO48NE Granary and pigsty 90 metres north
1312-1/10/10 of Acton Scott Hall

GV II

Granary and pigsty. C19. Stone rubble granary and brick and
rubble pigsty. Plain-tile roofs with brick dentil course
eaves. L-shaped plan of single-storey and loft main granary
range and single-storey pigsty range.
EXTERIOR: granary gable front with plain loft doorway reached
by rubble stone steps; timber doorway in brick segmental
arched opening each side of steps at ground floor. South side:
3 doorways with restored boarded double doors. North side
partly covered by projecting pigsties with 3 brick pig
enclosures at the front and c1980 brick blacksmith's furnace
and chimney to rear.
INTERIOR: 3-bay purlin roof with 2 trusses.
