Row of 4 cottages. Early C19, Nos 2, 3 & 4 with mid/late C19
additions. Solid rendered walls. Slated roofs. No.1 has old
red brick chimney on each end wall; Nos 2, 3 & 4 have 2 more
on rear wall.
2 storeys. Each cottage 2-window range with doorway to right,
except that No.4 has 2 ground-storey windows with the doorway
placed between them. No.1 is set forward from the rest and is
slightly taller. Nos 2 & 4 have doorways with flat wood
canopies in the form of bracketed cornices, these being
supported by long curved brackets. Windows have box-framed,
6-paned sashes. Bracketed eaves cornice at Nos 2, 3 & 4. No.1
has a late C20 dormer with small-paned wood casements.
INTERIOR not inspected. Included for group value.
