GV II

House. Mid C18 with C19 and C20 alteration and extension.
Whitened roughcast brick on painted stone plinth; painted
stone quoins and bands; slate roof with coped gables and two
rendered gable stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3-storey, 1-bay front. At right is 2-storey square
bay with hipped roof and stepped-back first floor. To left of
bay is 4-panel front door with bead and flush lower panels and
moulded upper panels beneath bracketed porch. Windows on both
floors of bay are 3-light casements. On the second floor is a
2-light uPVC casement.
Right return has 3-storey 2-window gable-end. Two sash windows
remain; other windows are C20 casements. All windows are in
quoined openings with painted stone sills and lintels. Raised
first floor band on front is returned across right gable end.
Right return has second floor band.
INTERIOR: exposed floor beams, and staircase with turned
balusters.
