Boathouse and dovecote. Pre-1887. Timber with tarpaulin roof.
Gable end to lake has wide, divided cambered-arched opening.
Opposite gable end is higher and has 2 plank doors with
round-arched casement window to gable and surmounted by
octagonal dovecote with weathervane to apex. Shown on map of
1887. Forms a good group with Fullwood (qv) in the grounds of
which house it was built and an important element of the
suburban setting of this significant C19 development.
