House. c1830-40 with later additions and alterations. Brick
with painted stucco dressings, 2-span slate roof with plain
brick parapet to front elevation. End-wall (east) stack with
oversailing detail and pots.
PLAN: double-depth. Single-storey service wing to rear.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and cellar. 2 first-floor windows. Stucco
detailing includes Tuscan-style doorcase with incised
pilasters and panelled reveals. 6/6 sashes to first-floor, 3/6
to second-floor, all in plain reveals with sills and flat
gauged brick arches. To ground-floor left is canted timber bay
with french windows. Entrance door is single panel with
incised Greek-key style decoration to match that on pilasters;
overlight with geometric pattern glazing bars; 2 roll-edged
stone steps.
