2 semi-detached houses. c1830-40 with later additions and
alterations. Brick with painted stucco dressings, hipped slate
roof, party-wall stack to front and rear roof slopes with
oversailing detail and pots. Brick dentil course at eaves.
PLAN: double-depth.
EXTERIOR: entrance to No.7 (west) in return elevation,
entrance to No.8 (east) re-positioned in north wall of
extended-forwards single-storey wing set back at east end.
Service ranges to rear, that to No.8 altered to 2-storeys.
3-storeys and cellar. 2 first-floor windows. 8/8 sashes except
second-floor which are 4/4, all in plain reveals with sills
and rusticated flat arches with fluted projecting keystones;
ground-floor sash to no.8 altered c1900 to French window,
margin glazing to upper section and overlight. 5-panel
entrance door, upper panels glazed, centre panel raised and
fielded, lower panels flush-beaded; fanlight with radial
glazing bars; fluted timber doorcase with open pediment.
