Description

T and J Low, dated 1903. 3-storey, 4-bay symmetrical Glasgow style tenement block. Red sandstone ashlar, rusticated at ground. Cill courses; eaves course; corniced windows.

N (ARGYLE STREET/ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: round-arched doorway to centre, recessed half-glazed door, hoodmould, keystone, segmental-arched

cornice above doorway and flanking windows. 2 windows above at 1st and 2nd floors, round-arched pediment above breaking eaves. Date stone panel to pediment with stepped hoodmould and keystone. Wallhead stacks flanking pediment. Full-height canted windows to outer bays, corniced at ground and 1st floors.

Mostly sash and case windows with plate glass to lower sashes, small panes to upper sashes. Modern tiled roof, gable stacks.
