Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay flatted villa with classical details. Cream rubble, painted to N and S elevations, ashlar margins. Base course; raised margins to windows; pilaster-quoins; cornice.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: corniced doorway to centre, modern fanlit door. Windows flanking at ground. 3 regular windows at 1st floor.

E (SINCLAIR STREET) ELEVATION: window at ground and 1st floor to outer left.

N ELEVATION: gabled bay to centre with curved forstair to corniced doorway at 1st floor. Flat-roofed addition flanking to left. Irregular windows at ground; window to outer right and left at 1st floor. INTERIOR: not seen.

Plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; ashlar coped skews; taller ashlar stack to left gable; 2 flat-roofed and slate-hung dormers with rooflight between to S and N elevations.

BOUNDARY WALL AND GATEPIERS: rubble boundary wall; square-plan piers with rounded caps.
