Exterior

Garden wall. High wall of rubble with flat stone coping. There are differences in the masonry and a course of square stones at about two thirds of the height suggesting different periods of construction, repair and possibly raising. A wide painted segmental-headed carriage arch at E to an ancillary building with boarded double doors. The wall terminates in a tall painted stucco doorway with architrave, large keystone and heavy bracketed cornice attached to the hotel.

Listed as a wall forming an important element in the Bridge Street townscape and as part of the hotel complex. Group value with other listed buldings in Bridge Street and Porthycarne Street.
