History

Road bridge over the Merlin's Brook, probably early to mid C19.

Exterior

Single-arched road bridge with well-hade segmental arch with rock-faced stone voussoirs and raised grey limestone flat band over. Unusually high flat parapets with squared end-on coping stones, boundary stone with eroded inscription built into W parapet. Parapets are ramped down at ends on SE, SW and NE ends.

Included for its special historic interest as a well-made small arched road bridge.
