Mid C19 or earlier end terraced house, of one build with No 9 and of even roofline with Nos 9-13 (odd). Building of slightly different shape in this location on 1844 tithe map.
End-terraced house, colourwashed stucco cladding lined as ashlar, with slate roof and brick end stack to left. Two-storey, one-window section of 3-window range including No 9. Small roof light. One 4-pane sash window with marginal lights above ground floor similar window set to left and doorway to right, the doorway paired with the door to No 9 which is aligned with centre window of whole range. C20 door, narrow plinth to left. Left end exposed stone rubble. Rear C20 addition and stair light with brick head. On 1978 list the windows were 12-pane sashes and the door was 6-panelled, 4 panels fielded.
Included as part of a single 3-bay building with No 9, part of group Nos 7-13 Hamilton Street.
