Exterior

Early to mid C19 exceptionally large, circular rubble limekiln, built into bank. Corrugated iron lean-to on N side and small outbuilding to S between kiln and adjacent bungalow, additions obscuring kiln-eye. Crucible infilled and grassed. Front wall has three built-in Gothic carvings, one head of man, two beasts’ heads.
