1829 road bridge over Nant Fforest, bypassed by modern road embankment.
Rubble stone with semi-circular single arch, cut-stone voussoirs, plinth and flat rubble stone parapets with rounded coping. North parapet now abuts modern road embankment and is partly destroyed.
Over bridge is plaque ‘1829 D Evans’, possibly relating to David Evans, architect of Fishguard and Cardigan.
A well-built example of a small road bridge of early C19.
Also included as item 50 in the Newport Community List.
