History

The form of the base is similar to bases for statuary in the pleasure garden at Wynnstay Hall which suggests that the sundial may have been a gift of the Williams-Wynn family, perhaps in the early or mid C19.

Exterior

Stone pedestal in the form of a truncated Doric column, bronze dial which is illegible, bronze gnomon.
